We launched this Norfolk Hot Air Balloon Flight from Thetford rugby club at 6.10 p.m. and climbed out to 3500 feet. The air was crisp and clean providing excellent visibility. Bury St Edmunds was in clear view as was the towns of Attleborough and Wymondham. We flew over the village of Wretham where one of our passengers spotted a herd of wild Red Deer grazing at the edge of the forest. Our track was due east passing Snetterton race circuit and the north of Attleborough. The balloon gently descended as we approached Wymondham and landed in a stubble field just outside the town. Mr Lenny Gent and his wife Janet commented on how magical the whole evening was. Many of the passengers friends and family were following our Land Rover on the ground retrieve and were able to watch the balloon land. This is a wonderful way to get everyone involved and is a great hit with with any younger members of the family
