Breckland Balloons is a well established family run business based in Norfolk. We have created a friendly, happy and exciting atmosphere by specialising in flying smaller groups than many of our competitors.

We like to encourage passengers, friends and relations to help rig and prepare the balloon prior to flight, if they wish.

The passengers then stand back whilst the pilot inflates the balloon. Once the balloon is fully inflated the passengers climb aboard and we are ready for take-off.

AND WE'RE OFF!

Once in flight, the balloon is totally stable and is an ideal platform for aerial photography, so bring plenty of film.

The whole ballooning experience will last three to four hours, one hour of which is the approximate flying time. On average we fly at a height of between 500 and 3,000 feet.

We recommend you wear outdoor clothing suitable for the time of year, preferably natural fibres. Wear sensible flat soled shoes or boots and bring a hat - this will protect you from the radiant heat from the propane burners.

After landing, we toast the flight with a glass of chilled bubbly (or something non alcoholic for those who prefer), before returning to the launch site. Passengers are also presented with a first flight commemorative certificate.
